Pineapple Pound Cake with Pineapple Glaze (Moist & Buttery Tropical Cake)

Ingredients
  

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed pineapple, slightly drained

1/2 cup milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

3 to 4 tablespoons pineapple juice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F and grease a bundt pan.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
    Add dry ingredients to batter alternating with milk.
    Fold in crushed pineapple and vanilla extract.
    Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
    Bake for 70 to 80 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool slightly, then remove from pan.
    Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over the cake.
