Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup crushed pineapple, slightly drained
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons pineapple juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F and grease a bundt pan.Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.Add dry ingredients to batter alternating with milk.Fold in crushed pineapple and vanilla extract.Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.Bake for 70 to 80 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.Cool slightly, then remove from pan.Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over the cake.
