Beef and Noodles Recipe

Warm up your evenings with this classic Beef and Noodles Recipe. Tender beef and buttery noodles come together in the ultimate comfort meal.

Ingredients
  

1 lb. beef chuck roast, cut into bite-sized cubes

8 oz. egg noodles or pasta of choice

2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups beef broth

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp paprika

Optional garnish: fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear seasoned beef cubes in batches until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
    Add butter, onions, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until fragrant, then stir in paprika and thyme.
    Sprinkle flour over the mixture and whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until slightly thickened.
    Return beef to the skillet and simmer for 1–1.5 hours until tender.
    Boil egg noodles until al dente, drain, and set aside.
    Fold cooked noodles into the beef mixture and simmer 2–3 minutes to absorb the sauce.
    Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
