Blueberry Biscuits with Lemon Glaze (Flaky Buttery Irresistible Recipe)

Fresh blueberries and buttery layers come together in these irresistible biscuits topped with a bright lemon glaze. Perfect for breakfast or a sweet afternoon treat.

Ingredients
  

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold

3/4 cup buttermilk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup blueberries

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet.
    Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
    Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
    Add buttermilk and vanilla, mix gently.
    Fold in blueberries carefully.
    Shape dough and fold a few times for layers.
    Cut biscuits and place on baking sheet.
    Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
    Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm biscuits
