Broccoli Cheddar Stuffed Chicken Breasts Recipe

A cheesy, juicy stuffed chicken dinner that tastes restaurant worthy but stays incredibly simple for home cooks.

Ingredients
  

4 large chicken breasts (about 2 lbs or 907 g)

1 ½ cups finely chopped broccoli florets

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 oz softened cream cheese

2 cloves minced garlic

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

Optional ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry and slice a pocket into each one.
    Mix broccoli, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
    Stuff the chicken with the mixture and secure edges with toothpicks.
    Brush chicken with olive oil and season with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
    Heat a skillet over medium high heat and sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side.
    Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
    Rest for 5 minutes, remove toothpicks, slice, and serve.
