Cheddar Sour Cream Macaroni Salad (Creamy Tangy Irresistible Recipe)

Ingredients
  

2 cups elbow macaroni (dry pasta)

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp red onion (finely chopped)

2 tbsp celery (optional, chopped)

1 tbsp parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook macaroni in salted water until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water.
    In a large bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, and seasonings until smooth.
    Stir in cheddar cheese, onion, and celery.
    Add cooled macaroni and mix until fully coated.
    Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
    Stir again, adjust seasoning, and serve cold.
