Chocolate Raspberry Cake

This Chocolate Raspberry Cake is rich, moist, and bursting with juicy berries in every bite. It looks fancy but is surprisingly easy to bake at home.

Ingredients
  

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 cups granulated sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

½ cup vegetable oil

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup hot coffee or hot water

1 ½ cups fresh or frozen raspberries

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans.
    Whisk together dry ingredients in a large bowl.
    Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, then mix until smooth.
    Slowly stir in hot coffee or water until fully combined.
    Gently fold in raspberries.
    Divide batter evenly between pans.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
    Cool completely before serving or frosting.
