Christmas Cookie Bars

Soft, chewy, and packed with holiday flavor, these Christmas Cookie Bars make festive baking easy and stress free. One pan, big crowd appeal, and zero cookie scooping required.

Ingredients
  

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or holiday candy pieces

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
    Beat butter and sugars together until creamy and light.
    Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
    Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
    Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
    Fold in chocolate chips or candy pieces.
    Press dough evenly into prepared pan.
    Bake for 22 to 26 minutes until edges are golden and center is set.
    Cool completely, lift from pan, slice, and serve.
