Creamy Lemon Squares

Ingredients
  

1 cup unsalted butter

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 large eggs

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon lemon zest

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.
    Mix butter, flour, powdered sugar, and salt to form dough, then press into pan.
    Bake crust for 18 to 20 minutes until lightly golden.
    Whisk eggs and sugar, then add flour, lemon juice, zest, and cream.
    Pour filling over crust and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool completely, refrigerate, then slice and serve.
