Ingredients

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

1 cup cooked crab meat, finely chopped

2 green onions, finely sliced

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

24 wonton wrappers

Vegetable oil, for frying

Optional: sweet chili sauce or garlic aioli for dipping

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface and add about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center. Brush edges with water and fold into a triangle or pouch. Seal tightly.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Test readiness by dropping a small wrapper piece—it should sizzle immediately.
Fry 4–6 bombs at a time for 2–3 minutes until golden brown, turning occasionally. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve warm with sweet chili sauce or garlic aioli. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
Repeat frying remaining bombs in batches, keeping cooked ones warm in a low oven if needed.
