Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches Recipe

Slow cooked to perfection, these French dip sandwiches are juicy, melty, and totally irresistible. The kind of easy comfort food that everyone will crave.

Ingredients
  

3–4 lb beef chuck roast

1 large yellow onion, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 cups beef broth

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp dried rosemary

Salt and pepper, to taste

6 hoagie rolls

6–8 slices provolone or Swiss cheese

Instructions
 

  • Season and sear the beef chuck roast.
    Place onions and garlic in the Crockpot and add the roast.
    Pour in broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, thyme, and rosemary.
    Cook on LOW 7–8 hours or HIGH 4–5 hours.
    Shred the beef and strain the broth for au jus.
    Return meat to Crockpot with a bit of broth.
    Toast hoagie rolls and fill with beef and cheese.
    Broil until melted and serve with au jus for dipping.
