Fudgy Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies are the ultimate holiday treat everyone loves. Soft, rich, and beautifully crinkled, they disappear fast.

Ingredients
  

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon white vinegar

1 tablespoon red gel food coloring

½ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions
 

  • Whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    Cream butter with granulated and brown sugars.
    Beat in eggs, vanilla, vinegar, and food coloring.
    Mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
    Chill dough for at least 2 hours.
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Roll dough balls in granulated sugar then powdered sugar.
    Bake 10–12 minutes until crackled but soft in the center.
    Cool before serving.
