Gluten-Free Almond Flour Scones Recipe (Soft Healthy Easy Bake)

Soft, tender, and perfectly cozy, these gluten-free almond flour scones taste like something straight from a bakery. They make an easy homemade treat for breakfast, brunch, or your afternoon coffee break.

Ingredients
  

2 ½ cups almond flour

2 tablespoons coconut flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon sea salt

3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey

2 large eggs

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon almond extract

½ cup fresh blueberries or chocolate chips

1 teaspoon lemon zest

Optional sliced almonds for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    Whisk almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
    In another bowl, whisk eggs, maple syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
    Combine wet and dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
    Fold in blueberries, chocolate chips, or lemon zest gently.
    Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
    Shape dough into a round disk on the baking sheet and cut into 8 wedges.
    Sprinkle sliced almonds on top if desired.
    Bake for 20–24 minutes until golden around the edges.
    Cool for 10 minutes before serving warm.
