Irresistible Praline Crunch

Irresistible Praline Crunch that tastes like gourmet candy but takes minutes to make. Sweet, buttery, and unbelievably addictive.

Ingredients
  

8 cups (200 g) corn or rice cereal squares

2 cups (200 g) pecan halves

1 cup (200 g) packed brown sugar

1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter

1 tbsp (15 ml) vanilla extract

1 pinch salt

1/2 tsp (2 g) baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
    Add cereal and pecans to a large bowl.
    Melt butter in a saucepan, then stir in brown sugar and salt. Simmer 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and mix in vanilla and baking soda.
    Pour the mixture over cereal and pecans and fold to coat.
    Spread on the baking sheet and bake 45 minutes, stirring every 10–12 minutes.
    Cool completely, break into clusters, and store or serve.
