Joanna Gaines Lemon Bars Recipe

1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 large eggs
2/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
Powdered sugar for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
    Mix butter, flour, sugar, and salt, then press into the pan.
    Bake crust until lightly golden.
    Whisk sugar, flour, eggs, lemon juice, and zest until smooth.
    Pour filling over warm crust.
    Bake until set but slightly soft in the center.
    Cool completely, chill, slice, and dust with powdered sugar.
