Lemon Tiramisu: A Fresh and Creamy Citrus Dessert

Turn classic tiramisu into a bright citrus dream with this creamy lemon version. Light, refreshing, and perfect for impressing guests with zero baking.

Ingredients
  

250 g mascarpone cheese

240 ml heavy cream

100 g granulated sugar

3 large egg yolks

120 ml fresh lemon juice

Zest of 2 lemons

1 tsp vanilla extract

200 g ladyfinger biscuits

120 ml warm water

2 tbsp honey or sugar

Powdered sugar for dusting

Fresh berries or mint for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Mix warm water, honey, and lemon juice to make the syrup. Let it cool.
    Whisk egg yolks and sugar until creamy, then add mascarpone, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.
    Whip heavy cream to soft peaks and fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
    Dip ladyfingers quickly into the syrup and layer them in a dish.
    Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
    Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, then top with remaining cream.
    Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight. Garnish and serve.
