Marry Me Shrimp Pasta

Fall in love at first bite with this creamy shrimp pasta that tastes like a restaurant favorite. Perfect for date night or when you want to impress without the stress.

Ingredients
  

12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tbsp butter

Fresh basil, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then reserve some pasta water and drain.
    Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.
    Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant, then add sun-dried tomatoes.
    Pour in chicken broth and simmer briefly, then add heavy cream, seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
    Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
    Return shrimp to the skillet and mix gently.
    Add cooked pasta and toss everything together, using pasta water if needed.
    Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.
