Melt In Your Mouth Italian Iced Orange Cookies (Soft Fluffy Glazed Recipe)

Ingredients
  

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 large eggs

1/4 cup fresh orange juice

1 tablespoon orange zest

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup powdered sugar

2–3 tablespoons orange juice for glaze

1/2 teaspoon orange zest for glaze

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, then mix in orange juice, zest, and vanilla.
    Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
    Combine dry ingredients with wet mixture to form a soft dough.
    Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
    Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
    Cool cookies completely on a rack.
    Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle or dip cookies before serving
