Overnight Crème Brûlée French Toast Recipe

Ingredients
  

1 loaf brioche bread, cut into 1-inch slices

6 large eggs

2 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup brown sugar for topping

Optional: powdered sugar and fresh berries

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and arrange brioche slices.
    Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
    Pour custard over bread and press gently to soak.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes.
    Sprinkle brown sugar on top and caramelize with a kitchen torch or broiler.
    Serve warm with optional powdered sugar and berries.
