Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles Recipe

Craving bold takeout flavor at home? These Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles are saucy, savory, and ready in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

8 oz egg noodles or spaghetti

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces

5 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

1 tbsp honey or brown sugar

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red chili flakes (optional)

2 green onions, sliced

1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cook noodles in salted boiling water until tender. Drain and set aside.
    In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
    Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and fully cooked.
    Add minced garlic and chili flakes. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    Add cooked noodles to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture.
    Toss everything together so the noodles coat evenly with sauce.
    Add the cornstarch slurry if you want a thicker sauce. Stir until the noodles become glossy and sticky.
    Sprinkle sliced green onions on top and serve immediately.
