The Best Pistachio Cake Recipe (Moist Fluffy Bakery-Style Dessert)

1 cup shelled unsalted pistachios

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter

1 ¾ cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

1 tbsp vanilla extract

1 tsp almond extract

1 cup whole milk

½ cup Greek yogurt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare cake pans.
    Mix dry ingredients including ground pistachios.
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, then mix in extracts.
    Combine milk and yogurt in a separate bowl.
    Alternate adding dry and wet ingredients into batter.
    Divide batter and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool completely before serving or frosting.
