Turkey Pot Pie Recipe

A golden crust, creamy filling, and tender turkey make this pot pie the cozy dinner you will crave all season. Perfect for using leftovers in the most delicious way.

Ingredients
  

1 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup diced onion

1 cup sliced carrots

1 cup diced potatoes

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups chicken or turkey broth

1 cup whole milk or cream

2 cups cooked diced turkey

1 cup frozen peas

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp dried thyme

1 double pie crust

Instructions
 

  • Sauté onions, carrots, and potatoes in butter and olive oil until softened.
    Add garlic, then stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
    Pour in broth slowly, then add milk and cook until thickened.
    Stir in turkey, peas, and seasonings.
    Fill bottom pie crust with mixture and cover with top crust.
    Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 35–40 minutes until golden.
    Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
